From February 5–7, 2025, in Manila, Philippines, the Law Society of Azerbaijan (LSA) attended the Open Government Partnership (OGP) Asia and the Pacific Regional Meeting as a key civil society partner. This high-level convening brought together government representatives, civil society leaders, and policymakers from across the Asia-Pacific region to exchange experiences and advance open government initiatives.

First Eastern Partnership Summit took place in Vienna
The Law Society of Azerbaijan was honored to take part in the inaugural Eastern Partnership Summit held in Vienna. Our founder, Ziya Guliyev, spoke during a panel on the role of the EU in fostering civil society in the South Caucasus. It was a valuable opportunity to share perspectives on legal reform, civic engagement, and human rights under restrictive conditions. We are grateful for the chance to contribute to this important regional dialogue and strengthen partnerships across the Eastern Partnership community
